Pass Plus

Passed your driving test within the last year?... Then this scheme is for you!

Why?
As a new driver you are more likely to have accident in the first year after passing your test than any other time throughout your motoring caree, this is mainly due to a lack of experience.

For more details visit:

What's Involved?
When you have passed your test you can a take a pass plus course, which is 6 specially designed training lessons. These cover:
In-town driving
Bus Lane sign Car with headlights on
Night driving
Out of town driving
Wild Animals sign Dual Carriageway sign
Dual carriageway driving
All weather driving
Risk of Ice sign Motorway Junction sign
Motorway driving

Training under the Pass Plus Scheme helps you gain valuable experience that would otherwise take a long time to acquire. The good news is that there is no further test to take, when your instructor is satisfied with your performance you receive a certificate from the Driving Standards Agency. This certificate may entitle you to a discount on your initial premium but it is advisable to obtain several quotes before committing to any particular insurer. Get a quote without mentioning discounts for pass pluss and then ask what the premium would be with pass plus
